Process Overview:
The Yudian AI-208 is applied in heat treatment for zonal heating in injection molding machines. This instrument has a measurement accuracy of 0.3 grade and an adjustable temperature range of 0-450°C. Its compact size (45x45mm) and 5V DC voltage signal output for controlling solid-state relays (SSRs) make it highly versatile. It also features one relay output for upper and lower limit over-temperature alarms. Each heating zone is controlled by an independent sensor, which performs individual temperature sampling and independent output control for each heating element, enhancing the flexibility of control.


Field Application:
Due to the varying load power of hot melt adhesive machines, the instruments interface includes a self-tuning function button. Self-tuning establishes a binary relationship (0 or 1). For familiar systems, known correct P, I, D, and CtI parameters can be directly input without activating the self-tuning (AT) function. Self-tuning allows the temperature controller to perform ON/OFF (bang-bang) control. After 2-3 oscillation cycles, the internal microprocessor analyzes the period, amplitude, and waveform of the oscillations to automatically calculate the P, I, D, and other control parameters. The parameter values obtained through tuning may vary depending on the setpoint. Before executing the self-tuning function, the setpoint should be adjusted to the most commonly used value or an intermediate value. For systems with good thermal insulation, such as electric furnaces, the setpoint should be set to the system's maximum value before initiating the self-tuning operation.
